Extend Care: Maternity & Sick Leave Support Fund

Hi everyone, I'm Brandy Calvin a SEIU Local 105 member & pharmacy technician at Kaiser Permanente in CO Springs. My husband & I were expecting our second child to come on 11/6/23 when our little guy changed the plan & decided he needed to come way sooner. As a result I had an emergency c-section on 8/15/23. I had enough paid time off (PTO) for 8 weeks of maternity leave. Per my physician's recommendation I need to take 12 weeks to heal and be with my newborn during his stay in the NICU at Children's Hospital.

I'm reaching out for help in making sure I have enough PTO to finish out my 12 week leave so that we are able to afford our basic living expenses. If anyone would like to donate PTO , and is a member of Local 105, you can complete Form 2030 on HR Connect. I am creating this gofundme as an alternative option for those who may not be a member of Local 105 and still would like to support me and my family.

Its difficult for me to ask for help as I normally am trying to help others in need. I am very appreciative to whomever may happen to see this page for simply reading it. My husband, my daughter, son and myself would be eternally grateful.
