There are moments in life where we are faced with challenges that we simply cannot overcome alone.

 As a parent, it pains me to admit that I am in one of those moments right now. Battling severe aplastic anemia has taken its toll on my health, and I am unable to work to provide for my family like I used to.

 My greatest concern during this difficult time is my child's well-being, especially when it comes to keeping her connected to our Jewish roots.
