Masse's Journey to Korea

Hey Everyone! We're very excited to announce that we are in the process of adopting a child from South Korea. For those that might not know us, we are Christy and Josh.  We have been married for 12+ years.  Early on in our marriage, the idea of adoption had always been close to our hearts; and we knew that was something we wanted to pursue. We have decided to take a leap of faith and pursue starting a family through adoption.

 

Our story is special or unique because we have decided to adopt from the same orphanage I came from in South Korea. A few years ago, I visited that same orphanage where 38 years earlier, I had been dropped off. It was at that moment visiting the orphanage that it was the Lord's calling to adopt. We feel blessed that the Lord has called us to adoption.

 

We currently have filled all our paperwork out and completed the home study. We are just waiting on Korea now to assign us a child. We are patiently and joyfully waiting on the day when we can finally be assigned and bring a child home to our family.

 

We appreciate any financial gifts to go towards the process. While we are asking for financial support, more importantly, we are asking for the prayers that everything will go according to God's ultimate and perfect plan through the entire process.
