Family’s in need of Kosher meals : Aishel Avraham

Food insecurity is something that I have been aware of since I was young. I remember the first time my parents packaged up our left over thanksgiving dinner in small containers and drove us to downtown Las Vegas. We got out of the car and walked around passing out the meals to hungry people on the streets. They were so appreciative of the meal and I realized that those people sleeping on the corners around the city were once living in homes just like me. I'm Mason Howard and for my mitzvah project I’m going to focus on raising money to benefit Aishel Avraham of Las Vegas. This is a kosher food bank that prepares and delivers food to people in need. Any donation will help make an impact. My goal of $2,000.00 is enough to help feed a Jewish family for a whole year.
