Mason’s Fight for Healing: A Journey from Tragedy to Triumph

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Patthana Patt Sengsouvanh, I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother Ron and Linda, who are going through an incredibly difficult time. Their 12-year-old son, Mason, was involved in a tragic fire accident and has suffered severe burns—2nd-degree burns over much of his body and 3rd-degree burns on his hands, arms, back, neck, and torso.

Mason is currently in the ICU, fighting to recover and enduring multiple surgeries to save and repair what was damaged. His road to recovery will be long and painful, and he’s expected to stay in the hospital for over a month. The trauma he’s experiencing is unimaginable, and the medical team is working tirelessly to ensure that Mason heals as fully as possible.

During this time, Ron and Linda are doing everything they can to be by Mason’s side, but the mounting expenses are overwhelming. Between medical bills, daily living costs, and time away from work, they are in desperate need of support.

We are asking for your help, no matter how small, to relieve some of the financial burdens they are facing. Your donations will go towards medical expenses, bills, and other necessities during Mason’s recovery.

In addition to the severe injuries Mason suffered in the terrible fire, he has also lost everything in his room. All of his clothes, toys, books, and personal belongings were destroyed in the blaze. It’s heartbreaking to see him endure such trauma, and on top of that, to realize he’s lost everything he cherished.

As Mason begins his long recovery, we want to help him rebuild his world—starting with replacing the things he’s lost. We are asking for donations to help provide Mason with new clothes, essentials, and the things that brought him joy and comfort in his daily life.
