Masons cancer journey

Hey everyone I have set up this go fund me for my baby brother Mason.

I want to raise money to help with travel expenses, day trips and anything Mason may need now or in the near future.

Mason is just over 1 years old he is such a happy little boy full of laughter and smiles. Unfortunately Mason become poorly with a cough and breathing problems and swollen eyes. My parents took him to the doctors multiple times to be told his has bronchitis and the eyes was swollen due to conjunctivitis or allergies. Mason was not improving and his eyes was just getting worse so my mum and dad took Mason up to broomfield hospital a&e where Mason was seen to and had to stay in. He went through many blood tests and on antibiotics but still was not improving. Broomfield done some X-rays and ct scans on him which showed his spleen was enlarged and swollen they then mentioned Mason was going to be tested for cancer.

Mason was then blue lighted to great ormond street hospital where they started his diagnosis stages. He had mri, ct scans bloods and biopsies taken and a bone morrow tests when having sedation this affected masons breathing so he had to go into an induced coma. But he still woke up full of life and happy smiling away his a true fighter. He has had blood transfusions to help his levels

The doctors wanted to find out exactly what cancer mason had to give him the correct and best treatment plan. On the 13.04.24 at only 13 months old mason was officially diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, which is in his skull, neck, liver and kidneys. He will be having chemo to help beat it. Mason may be needing a bone marrow transplant which we all will be getting tested for. Since being in hospital my mum has stayed with him every day and night as only one person can sleep there with Mason my dad has been travelling up to Great Ormand Street every day and not getting back till late at night

Our strong hero will fight this with every piece of him and all his family backing him 100% please can every one keep praying for my baby brother thank you so much love Tia
