Hi, my name is Mason Skemp. I’m honored to have been selected as one of 29 Tempe Sister Cities’ Student Delegates for 2026. This June I will travel to Zhenjiang, China for three weeks to live with my Chinese exchange brother and his family. I am so excited for this cultural experience! In addition to all the things I will do in Zhenjiang, I will also get to visit Beijing and the Great Wall of China. When I return to

the U.S., my Chinese brother will join me here in Tempe for three weeks in July.

Each of my 29 fellow delegates will be matched with a foreign delegate. By donating, you’ll be helping 29 Tempe students and their foreign siblings to make their summer opportunity a reality. Your donation will be used by Tempe Sister Cities to fund all of the activities

they will be hosting during the U.S. portion of our trip. Some of the many activities include:Grand Canyon camping & hiking trip, California beach day and Disneyland trip, Fourth of July pool party, Welcome Dinner (as well as a Thanksgiving-themed, Farewell Dinner), and so much more!
