Mason Denny's Eagle Project for PHCS

Hi, My name is Mason Denny, and I am currently working on my Eagle Project with Troop 564. This project will benefit Perry Hall Christian School Athletics.

I have been in scouting since I was a 7-year-old Tiger Scout. I completed the tasks in elementary school to earn my Arrow of Light with Cub Scout Pack 999 before bridging over to Boy Scout Troop 564. As a Boy Scout, I have completed all the necessary badges to be qualified to earn my Eagle rank. An Eagle Scout is the highest rank of the Boy Scouts.

The final step I need to complete is my Eagle Project. An Eagle project is an opportunity for a scout to plan, develop and give leadership to others. These are all things I have learned through my years of Scouting, and now it is my time to demonstrate my mastery of these skills.

I started playing baseball at three years old and am still playing. I have played on many different teams throughout the years. However, nothing compares to the Perry Hall Christian Varsity baseball team. I am privileged to call so many of these players my brothers. It is a true honor to be able to give back to this team with my project.

My Eagle Project will consist of renovating the PHCS baseball dugouts. Due to vandalism and the need for long-planned improvements, this project will improve the aesthetics and functionality of the current baseball field. We will clean up and repaint the dugouts. We will also be rebuilding new benches for players to sit on in the dugouts.

Any help financially is very much appreciated to help me complete this project, but please don't feel obligated. I am excited to show you the result. I am honored to serve such a great community and can not wait to see where this project will go.
