Masks save. Save masks.

We are raising money to employ local seamstresses to make reusable face masks. Our goal with this is to employ local businesses so they can support their families during this very difficult time, while also protecting the community. There is a high demand for masks in places such as nursing homes and homeless shelters, where workers, patients, and the public constantly come in close contact. Caretakers in nursing homes have been wearing reusable masks over N95 masks to be able to safely reuse the N95 masks, and we are hoping to supply them with the reusable masks that are so desperately needed.
My brother, a junior in high school, and myself, a senior in college, felt we needed to do something to give back to our community. 100% of the money raised will go towards material, labor, and distribution of the masks. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
From the CDC: The CDC is additionally advising the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators. Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.
