Masks for Mustangs
Donation protected
I teach high school sophomores in the heart of Detroit city. My students are hard workers and always ready to work to meet my high expectations. I make it my job to prepare them with the tools they need to succeed. Together through the lens of Civics and Econ my students gain skills to to be civil participants and lead their generation by creating, advancing and sharing ideas.
One of the biggest challenges they'll face this year is continuing their education during a worldwide pandemic. As schools plan to re-open in the fall I understand many of my students do not have access to PPE or facial masks like others do. It is my goal to provide at least one cloth mask for each of my students (est. 100 students) in the beginning of the fall semester.
Your funds will go directly to purchasing masks, at just $4 a mask, from Knotty Boy Crochet a shop in Scranton, PA .
My students healthy and safety are my number one priority this school year. Please help me in providing PPE for my classes, thank you!
