The Masjid is in Crisis – We Need Your Help!
Beloved brothers and sisters, our masjid is on the verge of closing due to financial hardship. The monthly expenses of the masjid are $10,000, and we need at least $40,000 to sustain it for the next four months. Without immediate support, the doors of this sacred house of Allah may close. We cannot let this happen!
The Prophet ﷺ said:“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, 450; Muslim, 533)
Imagine the reward of keeping the doors of this masjid open—every salah, every recitation of the Qur’an, every child learning about Islam, every tear shed in dua—you will have a share in it!
A Heart-Touching Story of Sacrifice
One of our dear brothers, in his deep love for the House of Allah, made a pledge to sell his house and donate the proceeds to the masjid. However, due to his tenant refusing to vacate, he is fighting a legal battle and is unable to fulfill his noble intention. Despite his struggle, his heart remains with the masjid, knowing its immense importance. His sacrifice reminds us of how precious and valuable the masjid is!
Your Sadaqah Will Save You in the Hereafter
On the Day of Judgment, when everyone will be in desperate need, no one will have anything to give. That day, the small amount you donate today will stand between you and the Hellfire.
Allah says in the Quran:“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261)
Do Not Let the House of Allah Close!
The Prophet ﷺ said:“The most beloved places to Allah are the masajid, and the most disliked places to Allah are the marketplaces.” (Sahih Muslim 671)
If we allow a masjid to close, we lose a place that Allah loves the most! A community without a masjid is at risk of spiritual decline. The Prophet ﷺ also said:“When you see a man frequenting the masjid, then testify that he has faith.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 2617)
A masjid is the heartbeat of our faith—if it closes, we lose a center of prayer, learning, and connection to Allah. We must act now!
