Mama & Child Seeking Help to Overcome Hardship

In March of 2020 I watched my private medical practice of 8 years in Los Angeles, CA slip away from the shore of my life. My son, 4 at the time, had only me to rely on for his care in all aspects. We were alone and telemedicine was taking over where in-person care was no longer available. 24/7 with a 4 year old did not afford me the time or focus I would need for such a transition and so a new journey quickly began. Since those first long months of COVID I moved to Portland Oregon where I was able to become licensed. While I achieved some initial success a new practice in a new city during a global pandemic proved too difficult and obstacle (even for me) to overcome. Since that time my path has been an adventure of online community, connection, teaching and growth. My journeys took me to Michgan and New Mexico with another medical license in NM but no ability to work there. NOW - I am in Alaska, where after 4 long years I have finally found a community that has space and opportunity for myself and my son to stand on our feet and gain a life in community. These years gave me so many gifts and also took so much. The gains are immesurable. The losses have brought me here to ask for communoty support in moving my son and I to Alaska. We need financial support to move our (very few) belongings from Michigan to Alaska. My car and a small PODS worth of books, toys and modest home supplies. I have an estimate for the costs to move my things and I believe 7,000$ is enough to cover all expenses related to this big haul.
