This fund which will be managed by three members of Martin's management team will be used to help our co-workers who have been impacted by this tragic event. This fund is not associated with or being manged by our owners, the company or the Martin family. This is a fund for and by Martin's employees out of cocncern for each others well-being.
These funds will be used to assist Martin's Country Market employees meet their financial obligations during these times of uncertainty, assist with food, clothing and other basic needs. No cash payments will be distributed, funds will be paid directly to employees financial obligations or where necessary specific need gift cards will be purchased. The 3 managment team members monitoring this fund will review requests from co-workers and distribute funds based upon the greatest need and specific hardship being encountered. To be transparent in the event of excess funds being generated or when the fund is no longer needed any excess funds will be distributed to the local volunteer fire companies that gave so much the day of the disaster.
