My name is Sandra Saponaro and I am Mom to Marshall Saponaro who passed away suddenly a few months ago.

Marshall had Autism and Epilepsy and I raised him Solely for 22 years. To say that I am devastated and lost is an understatement as he is the Love of my Life. As many Autism parents can attest to, I spent every waking moment advocating for his health and well being. Marshall was doing very well and then on April 9, 2025 I found him unresponsive a few hours after a Dental Procedure.

Marshall spent many Summers and weekends in Long Beach Island,NJ where his Beloved Dunes brought him a peace and joy that will forever be celebrated in his Honor. Marshall would want his Legacy and Love of the Sea to continue. So I am launching Marshall’s Dunes Preservation Foundation in his name to further Preservation, Education and Awareness. Donations will be made to the Alliance for a Living Ocean Non Profit in Long Beach Island, New Jersey in his honor. ☀️
