Hello everyone,
This is the message from the Marsh Family.
As some of you may be aware, a devastating wildfire recently swept through the upper Panhandle area, causing significant damage to properties, agricultural land, and homes. Unfortunately, my family was among those affected by this tragedy. We are from Canadian, Texas, and my grandparents' home, which they have lived in for over 30 years, was completely destroyed by the fire.
The photo attached to this message shows what remains of their beloved home, where they have shared countless memories and raised their family. Everything they had accumulated over the past 50 years, including precious photographs, letters, and keepsakes, was lost in the fire.
Thankfully, my grandparents were safely evacuated to Dallas, where they are currently staying with their daughter. However, they left everything behind and now face the daunting challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.
Due to their age and health, it is not possible for my grandparents to return to Canadian; thus, we are doing everything we can to find them a safe and comfortable place to stay close to their family and doctors.
We are reaching out to our community for any support that can be provided to cover their basic needs, such as clothes, toiletries, and medical bills. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be truly appreciated.
