‍‍‍Cycling for Street Child – The Sierra Leone Challenge!

This April, I’m taking on the Sierra Leone Cycle Challenge—a 75 km ride in support of Street Child, an incredible charity that helps children in Sierra Leone access education and a brighter future. Many children in the country still lack the opportunity to go to school, and Street Child works to change that by building schools, training teachers, and supporting families.

Taking on a challenge like this has always been something I’ve dreamed of doing, and now that it's happening, I couldn’t be more excited. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to take part in this challenge—it’s a fantastic opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause. But with this honor comes a small reality check: I now have to swap my usual indoor routine (being Netflix & food) for actual training rides. No more waiting for the perfect Dutch summer day—I am hopping on my bike right away!

The ride itself won’t be easy—heat, rough terrain, and plenty of sweat—but every kilometer will be worth it, knowing we’re helping children access education and a better future.
