I adopted Marmalade when she was 5-6 months old in 2023. She turned 3 this February. She has a 2 yr old brother, Manito. They love each other a lot and miss each other when apart. Marmalade was named before I got her and I loved it because it suited her really well so I kept it! Marmalade is shy and wary butfriendly with everyone once she warms up to them. She loves playing with stringy toys , and cuddling with me on her terms. She's very demanding and vocal. She doesn't like the outside or car rides but will explore it from time to time with encouragement and treats. We have gone through alot together and have been each other's rock. I turned to waggle because I'm seeking any help possible for Marmalade's medical bills and hospitalization stemming from FIP and now her ongoing autoimmune disorder and heart disease. She will continue to be on steroids and anti-platelet meds for the unforseeable future. All the testings, diagnostics, medications, hospitalizations, ongoing appointments and treatments etc are close to 30K and more. I currently work multiple jobs while pursuing my license as a recent grad. I take care of my family abroad financially. My main job is at risk due to lack of government funding as I work for a non profit. My elderly mom's medical needs are adding to my financial strain.
