Hi, my name is Jordan Rodes, and I'm partnering with Elva Wilson (Marlene's mother) and we are starting a gofundme for a dear friend, daughter, veteran, mother who has just lost her husband in a motorcycle accident.

On March 26th, Nathan was blown off the road while on his motorcycle, and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Nathan leaves behind a loving wife, son, and daughter. Marlene is currently picking up the pieces of her life and could use some help. I am organizing this fundraising to give back to two veterans who could really use it.

If you're wondering more about Nathan and Marlene's story, please read on. Nathan retired as a Sergeant First Class from the military after serving for 13 years. He was medically discharged and moved to Conway to be closer to his son. Marlene served our country as well for six years as a Sergeant. She also moved to Conway looking for a fresh start and met Nathan. They met and fell in love quickly, married, and brought the beautiful Natalia into the world. Natalia was born with some heart issues, but God has continued to bless her and brought her through.

I am asking for help on behalf of Marlene as she still has a house payment, daycare, funeral expenses, and routine living expenses. Anything you could donate would immensely help Marlene as she adjusts to her normal.

Nathan became an organ donor to help enrich other people's lives and ensure that he was able to give back to other families; this ensures that his love and compassion for others will continue on.
