Malorie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl two months early. Marlee has been showing everybody just how much of a fighter she really is since the day she was brought into this world. Marlee was born with ASD & VSD, which is two holes in her heart. One in the middle of the top chamber, and another one in the middle of the bottom chamber. By the looks of her echo and chest X-ray, her right lung was not fully developed which is causing issues with her breathing. With her conditions, the pulmonologist does not want her oxygen level to be lower than 95%. Which it has been fluctuating back and forth. She will be put back on oxygen today to help with her breathing. We are waiting for her cardiologist to come evaluate Marlee and possibly see about doing a heart cath. If they go through with that, then they will be transferred to a hospital in Birmingham. Once the heart issue is resolved, then her cardiologist wants to see about another surgery so she can go in and look at her lung to see if it needs to be removed. From her having rhinovirus a couple weeks ago, getting covid, then getting transferred back to USA early last Tuesday morning for her breathing to find out she has pneumonia in the lower lobe of her right lung, it’s has been hard on Marlee’s momma and daddy.
Marlee has been through so much more than anybody could possibly imagine in such a short period of time. With Marlee being in the hospital for long periods of time, it has been difficult for her sweet momma, Malorie, to work. This is obviously a stressful time for the family, but she will now be out of work during the time Marlee is in the hospital getting better and her medical and other bills will be stacking up. We are hoping to relieve the stress & financial burden so she can focus on her baby girl without the worry of paying bills. Any amount helps to allow her the time to make sure Marlee is taken care of and she will be extremely grateful.
Marlee has proven to us multiple times just how strong she truly is. Our family has completely put all of our trust into the lord. We know for sure Marlee is in the best hands possible and will get better in time. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
