I joined Wertz Warriors in 2015.  This group of about 50 snowmobilers raises enough money every year to completely fund the Michigan Special Olympics-Winter Games at Grand Traverse Resort.  We rent the entire resort so that athletes, families, and volunteers can stay free of charge.  With excess funds we grant requests from different Areas for equipment, clothing, transportation costs, etc.  My major fundraiser is "Wertz Day at the Winery" where ALL sales are donated to Wertz Warriors but more is always helpful for these deserving athletes.
