I Am Someone (IAS) supports some of the most desperate kids in the world. I have been supporting their work for over 12 years, and have personally visited all their African projects over numerous trips to Sierra Leone, Uganda and Kenya helping the mighty Steve Argent, founder. I have met and worked closely with all the local managers of this incredible little organisation.

This trip is special as I will be leading a group of volunteers for coming over to Kasese to assist building a school holiday program centre. We will support the local managers in many ways, from admin support to planting/painting/rendering, and outreach/programming/fundraising for the holiday programs. There is so much to do!

During our 3 weeks in Kasese we will meet all the kids returning 'home' and get them to help building the ideal holiday program. My personal interest remains in empowering the girls in our care through education and support.

As always, 100% of all donations (including this gofundme!) goes directly to these projects in Uganda.

Personally, I have never found a more valuable potent way to spend a dollar or a minute of my time. Please help raise this money to support these incredible kids. In August in Kasese I will be posting daily of news and progress, to describe as best I can life for these kids, their needs, triumphs and challenges. I cant wait to share this journey with you!
