If you know me or my family, you know that we aren’t people that ask for help. We try to solve problems on our own.

But seeing my brother go through what he has gone thru in the past seven months has been very hard.

Where do I start…The streak of bad luck started October of 2022, when my nephew Michael got ran over by a truck. After a couple of days in the hospital he was able to leave with a broken collar bone and a huge medical bill.

Months later doctors found a tumor in his Wife’s Mandy reproductive system and had to undergo a full hysterectomy. She was out of work for weeks all of which were unpaid. The hospital bills kept coming.

Shortly after, Chris his youngest, broke his arm during football practice adding to the pile of hospital bills.

But the worse news came this Friday when I got a call from my little brother telling me that my nephew Mark was in the ICU.

Mark was at a party and wanted to show off, so he got on the roof of the house to jump in the pool. He slipped and struck his head on the cement floor near the pool.

My nephew has been in ICU since then. He is currently undergoing a craniotomy to release the pressure built up.

We have not lost our faith and know that God is watching over him during the procedure. And although we believe with all our hearts that he will make it through this, he still has a long way to go.

If you can and have it in you please help. I have never seen defeat in my brothers eyes, and even though he hasn’t said anything to us, I’m sure he’s drowning in hospital bills and every little bit helps.
