This fundraiser has been set up to support Maria and the children as they face life without Mark.

Mark was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei, an extremely rare condition affecting around 2 in a million people, in December 2023. In March 2024, he underwent an incredibly complex 11-hour operation at The Christie, followed by heated chemotherapy. The surgery was extensive and life-changing, and Mark spent many difficult days in intensive care and in hospital.

Despite everything his body was put through, Mark showed incredible strength and determination. He fought hard for time - time to be at home and most importantly, time with his beautiful wife and children.

After months of further treatment and countless rounds of chemotherapy, Mark sadly lost his fight on New Year’s Eve 2025. He leaves behind his devoted wife Maria, and their young children, Eva, Noa, Joseph and Jack.

Many will know Mark from his years owning Bradbury’s Butchers in Ravenshead, where he was a much loved and familiar face in the community. Mark was kind hearted, humorous and always willing to help others.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial pressure during an unimaginably difficult time.

Thank you for your kindness, support and generosity.
