Marisol Martinez’s medical bills

As most of you know our sister Marisol has been in the hospital since she got back from her trip to Italy on Monday April 18th. It has been a very hard and scary month and a half for her & our family. After being transferred to 4 different hospitals, given 4 different kinds of treatments, over 100 of diagnostic tests, 10-12 lumbar punctures, CT scans, EKGs & enough MRIs to loose track of them, on Monday May 23rd she was finally given a diagnosis, an autoimmune disorder called MOG ( this autoimmune disorder is a rare disorder, which is why it took so many tests).To finally know the name of what causes all of this brought a small relief but also opened the door to the unknown. Every text message, phone call, voicemail, cards, flowers, prayers & fasting have all brought her so much happiness and encouragement & she is so thankful for each and everyone of you. She is currently at an acute rehabilitation center getting the help she needs to get stronger. As our sister fights her everyday battles with the aftermath of what this disorder caused (inflammation in her optic nerves, brain & spinal cord) we wanted to find a way to help her so she doesn’t have to worry about her medical bills. It has been overwhelming to see the outpour of love our sister has received in her time at the hospital & everyone wanting to help out in any way that they can. This is a way you can. We are starting this to help pay off her medical bills that have now started to trickle in so she doesn’t have to worry about this. Her biggest & most important priority is getting herself stronger everyday so that one day not to far from now she can come back home to us. Whatever it is that you can give we thank you so much, truly from the bottom of our hearts!!! Marisol has remained strong in her faith when things have gotten very dark & will continue to hold on to Gods hand through it all. He has never left our side when we have needed Him & we know He will not leave our sister. We are waiting for her miracle & when it comes she will have a great testimony of how our God healed her. An update of where she is now, with the help of occupational and physical therapy her hand mobility is coming back, for almost the whole month she was not able to move her left arm & it had a burning sensation, that burning sensation has now left. Her right eye had completely lost sight, she is now able to see from both eyes, still blurry but improving. She still does not have mobility in her legs but we are praying soon she will start to move then again. The inflammation in her brain & spinal cord have shown to have decreased over this period of time. We ask that you please continue to pray for her & her healing.
