Marion Area LGBTQ Coalition Organization Fund

I am the founder and director of the Marion Area LGBTQ+ Coalition. We have a great need in our local area to create an organization to help bring our community and allies together to make a positive change in our county. We want to do this through social events and working towards a nonprofit status. Our goals are to provide community, advocacy and unity.

 

We wish to create a resource center in Marion. We have many organizations willing to work with us to offer various services to the LGBTQIA+ community. We will be able to have social events and activities to bring inclusion, belonging and community to people. We also want to offer support groups for various topics and link services to needs. 

 

We have the community; now, we need the nonprofit and the work space.
