Hey, my name is Olesya and I’m setting up a fundraiser for my sister, Marina.

As many of you may know, this past November, my beautiful sister Marina was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. Since then, she has been through 8 exhausting months of chemotherapy, 5 rounds of radiation and is now getting ready for her next big step of Surgery. This next Friday, August 18th, Marina will be having a very significant surgery to try and remove as much cancer as possible. This includes both her colon and liver. Because of the extent of her surgery, she will be hospitalized for a minimum of 10 days. As you may guess, she is scared and full of anticipation, as she has every right to be and I believe she needs love to be poured on her now more than ever.

This being said, I am hoping to get together some things to encourage, love and support her. Following surgery she will be facing even more life changes and medical expenses. I have set up this page to help cover things from her hospital copays and medications/ equipment she will be needing to anything she may need to keep her comfortable during her stay in the hospital.
