Marina and Family

Hello, I am Marina's step-son Ricky. On July 27, 2022, Marina (Gabunia) Verriest unexpectedly and tragically passed away at our home on Long Island, NY. After having lost her son Giorgi on July 17th. Having come here from The Republic of Georgia in the fall of 1998 after the unexpected loss of her husband to support her son and sister's family back home. First, taking domestic work and later becoming an aid to the elderly, after getting married to my father, she became an accomplished accompanist in the ballet community that she trained for in Georgia. She and her son were their sole means of support. Without her and her son's help, their lives will be severely impacted. We ask for your help in lessening this impact by donating to help support them during this challenging tme.
