Marie Sluchak Community Park Renovation

Our Community Park has outdated playground equipment and no ADA access. Our Local Public Utility District has purchased a new playground for us and we need to provide the space necessary to set it. We,  as a community,  have organized volunteer workers to do the demolition of the existing play structure, remove trees, and excavate the area. We are looking for help to pay for the concrete retaining wall that will house the new playground and play surface. The total cost is going to be $50.000.00 to $60.000.00.  

  Local homeowners and our Tahoe Cedare Property Owners Association have raised about half of the total. We need help from the wider community. This project needs to be completed before the snow flies this fall. 

 Our park provides a safe place for locals and vacationers to play, gather, picnic, listen to live music, and see movies on Saturday nights in the summer. We want to make it be more accessible and more fun for everyone! Please help us achieve our goal with generous donations.
