Maria needs your prayers and help

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing to you today to ask for your support in raising funds for our dear friend Maria, who is fighting a courageous battle against ​ Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Maria was diagnosed with ​AML with double mutation (FLT3, IDH1) earlier this year, and has been undergoing grueling chemotherapy treatments ever since.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Maria has remained positive and resilient throughout her treatments. She has been an inspiration to all of us who know her, and we are determined to do everything we can to support her in her fight.

We are currently seeking to raise $80K to help cover Maria's medical bills, bone marrow transplant and other expenses related to her treatment. Due to this sensitive transplant procedure, she will need to find housing close to the hospital, for approximatley 80 days, with 24 hour care. Maria will be losing 40% of her income once she starts long term disability, so these funds will help ease the financial burden on her and her family during this extremely difficult time.
