Hi, my name is Margot and I am a 25 year old teacher and artist based in Montreal. For almost two years now, I have been living with the after effects of long COVID. The illness has caused me to have chronic fatigue, daily asthma attacks, episodes of dizziness and fainting. This has made keeping a job challenging, on top of discrimination due to my transness and autism.

I have recently started a new job teaching workshops in elementary schools. I am slowly increasing my amount of work hours, but in the meantime am struggling to make rent and afford my asthma medication as well as hormones.

I am reaching out to my community to seek some financial relief as to ease my transition back into the workforce, and maintain access to medication and potentially afford laser and electrolysis again. I have accumulated some debt during the time I was unable to work. Any help decreasing my financial stress would be greatly appreciated.
