On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC, Springfield, Missouri, and cities around the world to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today.
The funds raised here will go towards expenses incurred by the Springfield group. **As of Thursday, March 8th, our initial goal is $3,000. This will mainly be used for fees charged by the City including police, electricity, and licensing fees as well as the bulk purchase of items to sell at the event.**
The money raised and disbursed will be overseen by the Teen Organizing Committee as well as adult facilitators, and will only go to costs for this local march. Any money not spent will be donated to the Stoneman Douglas Victims' Fund on GoFundMe, and we'd REALLY like to help them.
