Join us August 23rd at 11am at the MLK Monument in Washington, DC (1964 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC). BRING YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN! Mothers, grandmothers, fathers, and our children will lift up the contradictions of spending billions of dollars on war, death, destruction, and human rights violations when families and children in the U.S. also suffer from malnutrition, homelessness, homicide, suicide and drug addiction.
Gandhi once said – poverty is the worst form of violence.
Together we will lift our voices with our families, not only to send a strong message to those who benefit from war, but we will send a strong message to the next 7 generations to come that we will refuse to be silent; we refuse to be afraid. Together we will march from the MLK Monument to the Pentagon.
