Recognition Plaque for Coach Hamren

Marc Hamren has been the backbone of Richfield swimming since the pool was built in 1976.  We would love to honor his commitment and dedication to the sport of swimming by recognizing him with an engraved plaque which will be permanently mounted in the lobby of the Richfield Middle School Pool.
The state champion girls' 1980 swim team will be inducted into the Richfield Hall of Fame this October, and Mr. H. will be honored with his plaque at this time.  He knows nothing about this, so please keep it a secret!  The ceremony will take place at Richfield High School October 5 at 9:00 am, please consider joining us to honor both Mr. H. and the 1980 state champions!
If we surpass our fundraising goal, the extra money will go to the girls' and boys' swim boosters to support the future of swimming in Richfield.
Coach Hamren has done so much for the sport of swimming as well as for the youth of Richfield.  His passion for kids and swimming is evident.  We are so excited to be able to honor him in this permanent way, and know he will be so grateful and humbled by your contribution.  Thanks for considering it, and hope to see many of you in October!
