I have recently celebrated my 50th birthday. The average life expectancy of a woman experiencing homelessness is 43 years. This is a shocking statistic, and an absolute tragedy. Death is often from treatable medical illnesses.

Street Buddies go onto the street in Manchester on a Friday night showing they care about those unfortunate enough to be living on the street. They give out hot drinks, food, tents, sleeping bags, and warm clothing. They are completely reliant on the generosity of the team themselves, and others, donating required items, food, drinks, and money each week. I am running the Chester marathon in October to raise money for Street Buddies. All monetary and physical donations so very welcome. Thank you so much.
