I will be running the Manchester Marathon on the 19th April, and want to use this opportunity to bring attention to the homelessness crisis we are facing in Manchester, and to try and do something about it.

I have been volunteering with Lifeshare since November, so I will be able to see in person the help that your donations will do. It is such an important place in Manchester, and I have been lucky enough to get to know some wonderful people there, guests and volunteers.

I have also been training since around that time as well, so I really hope it pays off!

Lifeshare is a voluntary organisation established to help meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester and Salford. The first point of contact is with people on the streets, offering practical assistance, support and information.
