Aidez Manon à se battre contre le GBS

Bonjour,

Nous sommes la famille de Manon Mercier et nous ramassons des fonds afin de l’aider à se battre contre le syndrome de Guillain Barré qui a été diagnostiqué le 12 juin dernier. Notre mère a été hospitalisé au soin intensifs après avoir perdu la sensation et la capacité de ses jambes. Elle a alors été diagnostiquée avec le syndrome de Guillain Barré, une affection rare dans laquelle le système immunitaire attaque les nerfs périphériques. Elle a dû être sur le ventilateur pour plus de 7 jours et elle a temporairement perdu l’usage de ces jambes et partiellement de ces bras. Elle a été transféré a Sacré Coeur, une hôpital à Montreal, loin de ces proches. Elle est toujours aux soins intensifs depuis maintenant 2 semaines et la réhabilitation sera longue. Les fonds servirons à la soutenir dans son cheminement :

Payer les frais de déplacement et dépenses pour la soutenir à Montreal.

Acheter tout article pouvant aider la récupération.

Le Guillain Barré est in syndrome assez rare et c’est très difficile de savoir combien de temps la réhabilitation prendra. Advenant que nous n’ayons pas besoin de la somme totale, nous nous engageons à faire une donation à la fondation Canadienne du GBS.

Good morning,

We are the family of Manon Mercier and we are raising funds to help her fight against Guillain Barré syndrome which she was diagnosed with on June 12. My mom was hospitalized in intensive care after losing feeling and ability in her legs. She was then diagnosed with Guillain Barré syndrome, a rare condition in which the immune system attacks peripheral nerves. She had to be on the ventilator for over 7 days. She temporarily lost the use of her legs and partially the arms. She was transferred to Sacré-Cœur, a hospital in Montreal, far from her loved ones. She has now been in intensive care for 2 weeks and rehabilitation will be long. The funds will be used to support her in her journey:

Pay travel costs and expenses for support in Montreal.

Buy any item that can help with recovery.

Donation to the GBS foundation with the extra.

Guillain Barré is in a fairly rare syndrome and it is very difficult to know how long rehabilitation will take. In the event that we do not need the full amount, we undertake to make a donation to the Canadian GBS Foundation.
