Help fund a new creative arena for independent musicians

Hi,

I am Andreas.

After more than 20 years as an art director in the music industry, three albums with Black Belt, tours, and tons of other fun experiences, I now find myself at the doorstep of my dream. As I turned 50 last week. To all my friends - Instead of gifts, my wish is to transform the old house I recently got the keys to, into a creative production hub for musicians, artists, and bands – something I feel Stockholm is missing.

The purpose is to make every step and process easier for bands and artists. I’m planning two studios, an atelier/photo studio, desk spaces, and a backyard that can be used for concerts, festivals, release parties, showcases, and club events. Additionally, I want to offer mentorship meetings and workshops, with myself and through my network, as well as various other valuable services and projects. My goal is to “save” music – to inspire and organize the independent scene. In terms of equipment, I already have much of what I need, but to set up the house and backyard, I would truly appreciate support to make it even better and reach further from the start.

Here are the specific goals and what the contributions will be used for:

Goal 1: Soundproofing and equipping the studios – 40,000–60,000 SEK

To create a well-insulated and inspiring work environment for musicians and producers, soundproofing, and additional microphones and stands are needed.

Goal 2: Painting and simple kitchen renovation – 30,000 SEK

With a quick refresh of the walls and kitchen, we create a welcoming and inspiring environment.

Goal 3: Stage and DJ equipment – 25,000–40,000 SEK

To transform the backyard into a unique event space, a simple stage with good sound and lighting, as well as DJ equipment for club nights, is needed.

Goal 4: Yard and outdoor area – 25,000–70,000 SEK

I want to create a lush, green backyard, perfect for summer events and an inspiring environment, with garden areas and seating for social gatherings.

Every contribution, large or small, helps me realize this dream and create a unique place full of opportunities for those in Stockholm who truly need it. And for everyone who appreciates music and experiences without necessarily playing themselves, I want to present a new stage. Thank you for helping make this possible!
