Hindu Temple Of Central Queensland(ACN: 632780922) is a not for profit organisation where like minded individuals from Central Queensland areas like Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald and even as far as Brisbane have come together to raise money to build a Hindu temple in Rockhampton. In last 10 months we have managed to put together $250,000/- which has enabled us to buy a building that can be converted in to a temple. 

In order for us to proceed with the repairs, renovations and general improvements we are raising funds through this venture. The future plans also include building a library and a cultural centre for engagement and learning. 

The temple will provide an avenue for the Hindus in and around the area to come together and pray as well as celebrate cultural occasions. This will give an opportunity to the children to experience their culture as well. The locals will also get to taste a flavour of our rich cultural heritage.

The money raised will go a long way in preserving our Hindu traditions and cultures and keep them alive for our future generations.
