I'm Archie and this October I am going from Cornwall to Manchester to run the Manchester half marathon in support of Save the Children, an incredible charity that is fighting for the survival of children who are starving and suffering due to the genocide in Gaza. I firmly believe every child is deserving of a secure future with opportunities to have access to education and a nurturing environment, which is something that is merely a glimmer of hope for those in Gaza. Save the Children's work aims to ensure that all children, no matter their gender, race or religion have the ability to progress in life without the fear that their life may be stripped away from them in a second. I believe that no child ever should wake up to the sound of bombs and the crippling terror that they may not live to see another sunrise. I am aiming to raise £500 to donate to Save the Children, which would allow the charity to provide 1,850 malnutrition treating food sachets to thousands of children in Gaza.
