Manayunk Bridge Garden & Bridget's Dog Rest Stop
Donation protected
The Manayunk Bridge Project was started in 2014 by the City of Philadelphia. It was planted with rose bushes in 2016 and then neglected and long forgotten. Some locals gave this little gem a new lease on life during the pandemic in November 2020. This little nook is nestled at the end of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail at the corner of High and DuPont Streets in Manayunk, Pennsylvania. We are raising money for the yearly upkeep and development of this space which includes: plants, water tanks, tools, soil, mulch, seeding, umbrellas, solar, seating and dog treats. A fan favorite is Bridget the Dino, she always has fresh water and treats available for her four legged friends. Upkeep and maintenance is a 100% volunteer effort using donated, reclaimed and purchased materials. Please come and visit us and stroll across the newly lit bridge. All are welcome.
