Man O War Dorian Relief Fund

Hello! My name is Erin Depew and I've been visiting Man O War for the past 20 years and have gotten to know many of the wonderful people on the island. Man O War is a small community that has just experienced catastrophic devastation as a result of Hurricane Dorian. As of now we don't know how great the needs are on MOW but from what little we know the needs are beyond comprehension. The funds raised here will be distributed directly to the people of MOW. Thank you for contributing, I know how thankful they will be.
Update- we know that roughly 80% of the people have lost their homes and they are all sheltered together in the few remaining houses that have a roof so they can sleep somewhere dry. I can't imagine the conditions they are living in. They have no power, no beds, no food, nothing.
Help is on the way to them but because of the storm heading to FL it's delayed the arrival of help to MOW. The devastation there is hard to comprehend and we have only seen aerial footage of MOW as of now. These people need our help, they don't have boats, or ferries or anything and even if they did they can't get out of the harbour because both entrances are blocked by sunken boats. Please consider donating, whether it's $5 or $500 it will make a difference in their lives. Thank you.
