Mama Ning, the founder of Sanggar Lestari Melbourne https://www.sanggarlestari.com/ , is shaving her beautiful Konde of hair off to fundraise money for the Kasih Project. 

The Kasih Project are a non-for profit organisation based in Melbourne, which aim to provide essential items and food to those in need who have been affected by the Covid19 pandemic.
Many International Students, Refugee background families and Working Holiday Visa holders have been deeply affected due to losing work and their ineligibility to apply for Government or Centrelink support. 

The money raised will be donated to the Kasih Project to purchase essential food and items for those in need. 

If you know Mama Ning , you will know she is passionate about cooking and caring for people and is deeply moved by the thought of people going hungry at this time. She has been volunteering her time to organise donations as well as drop off food and essential items as a Kasih Project Volunteer. 

Mama Ning loves putting her hair in a traditional konde, but loves feeding people even more! We will be posting the video of her hair shaving on our Social Media accounts on Sunday night!
