Mals Pals Best Buddies Team

I'm lucky enough to be the father of this beautiful girl, Mallory Bickerton. Mal was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome at birth, and it became apparent very quickly that there were a lack of resources and support for families of children with rare diseases. And so, Mal's Pals began. The foundation aims to:

Spread awareness and foster a supportive community for families of children with all kinds of rare diseases

Provide 'Direct to Family' funding and aid for accessible tools and adaptive equipment (Rifton Tricycles, gait trainers, and AAC devices)

Help sponsor the yearly RTS Conference, bringing together families of RTS from all over the country

Encourage inclusion for all of those with unique abilities, and advocate for special needs programming

Mal's Pals truly makes a massive impact on this community of special individuals, and I'm so proud to be riding my 6th Best Buddies ride for it!
