I am a domestic violence survivor trying to stay alive and safe after fleeing my home in February. Since leaving, I have been rendered homeless, with no access to our money or property, and most days I do not know how I will eat or get to court.
My abuser still lives in comfort with our former resources, while I am left struggling just to afford food, a bus fare, or a phone bill so I can stay in touch with the court and my doctors. Hearings keep getting delayed, and I am caught in a dangerous waiting period with nothing to fall back on.
I am asking for help to cover the bare minimum: groceries, basic hygiene, transportation to court and medical appointments, and my phone. Any amount you can spare—no matter how small—will help me get through one more day safely while I fight for protection and a chance to rebuild my life.
Thank you for seeing me and for helping me hold on.
