In 2023 we lost my cousin Ste to heart failure (dilated cardiomyopathy). I will be running the crazy Maldon Mud Run in his memory (… and I’m sure he’ll be looking down laughing at me getting stuck in the mud!!) He is always in our thoughts and will forever be missed ❤️

More information about Cardiac Risk in the Young: Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) was established in 1995 to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths (YSCD, SADS) through awareness, screening and research; and to support affected families. CRY funds fast-track services at the CRY Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Conditions and Sports Cardiology and the CRY Centre for Cardiac Pathology.
