Malawi trip 2025

Hi i’m Brandon and I’m hoping to go on a 2 week volunteering trip to Malawi in June 2025 with my school. During the 2-week trip, I will spend 5 days labouring on a building site with a team of local builders. I have established a partnership with a school in the Blantyre area of Malawi called Chilangoma Primary School. I plan to help renovate and provide artwork for 4 classrooms during my visit. I will also work with pupils in the school with teaching games, assisting in classrooms, reading stories etc. In the second week, I will also spend 3 days working with Bhubesi Sports Foundation. The foundation focuses on running extra-curricular rugby and netball sessions for young people from some of the poorest villages in the surrounding areas. This allows the young people to socialise and play sport every day at no cost to them. I also have the opportunity to visit and volunteer at local orphanages, hospitals and nurseries as well as working in partnership with Mary’s Meals delivering lunches.
