With humility and sadness, our family is asking for thoughts, prayers, and assistance with funeral expenses due to the sudden loss of my nephew, Malachi Lopez.

On November 18, Malachi was shot in the chest near his home. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he underwent surgery and numerous blood transfusions. The bullet traveled from his chest, to his lungs, then his heart. He fought a good fight but finally succumbed to his injuries on November 19 at 10:35 AM.

Friends and Family, we need help! We are not the type of family to ask for assistance unless we are truly in need. His parents, Shonte and Shannon Lopez are at a lost of how to move forward without their son. The last thing we want them to worry about are the expenses of the funeral. We appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
