Hello,

As some of you may already know, together with her daughter Molly I have started to plan to raise money for my wonderful friend Glenys!

Earlier this year following surgery Glenys was diagnosed with cancer and was told there would be no cure, only management of the disease.

Glenys began treatment and after further scans was given the devastating news that her prognosis is approximately 2.5/2 years from initial diagnosis.

Glenys has not only been a great friend and colleague to many of us at Rochdale Adult Care over the years but also has a lovely family including her 21 year old daughter Molly, a partner, sister, brother and mum who she now wants to spend as much time as possible with!

We would like to try and raise money to help Glenys make some amazing memories with her family and also to help with any financial worries that may arise. We will also like to donate some of the money to Macmillan/Maggie's who are a huge support to people like Glenys going through similar situations!

Anything you can donate would be hugely appreciated and will go a long way in supporting Glenys and her family.
