Making Lucy’s life special
Donation protected
Hi, I am fundraising for my daughter Lucy. She has had a very challenging life from the day she was born. She was born with a condition called Crouzon syndrome, which basically means premature fusion of the skull. She has managed to overcome lots of hurdles within her life Including over 25 major operations on her skull and brain. Since she has gone into adult services two years ago, she unfortunately lost her sight. This is not something that any of us were expecting, making this a very challenging time for the whole family. Despite all of these hurdles, Lucy is the most inspirational happy outgoing and strong person That anyone could meet. She is now relearning all her life skills to become independent in special blind college. In order for her to become independent, we are in the process of building an annex in our garden which is her dream. When this has been built, she will require extra funding to help make the garden safe for her. Therefore, any contributions would be gratefully received. You will see that the photos attached show how independent and strong Lucy is. The photo with Lucy stood outside the 21st birthday sign is the last birthday She had with her sight. Thank you for taking the time to read this. This is not something I would normally do, but financially I am unable to put into place what is required for her.
Thanks again for your support. Hayley
