Making Leatherhead Samaritans accessible to all

Hi All,

As many of you know, I have been volunteering at Central London Samaritans for nearly a decade and it has become a big part of my life.

Having moved to Leatherhead, I was keen to get involved with the local Samaritans branch which, as it turns out, is just a few doors down on our road!

Disappointingly, being an old building in a conservation area, the branch is currently not wheelchair friendly at all.

I am hoping to raise enough money to make the building accessible, not just for me, but for future volunteers and all users of the service with mobility issues.
